{"id":2218,"date":"2020-08-07T04:53:47","date_gmt":"2020-08-07T04:53:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/friendsofportsmouthisland.org\/\/fopi\/?p=2218"},"modified":"2025-04-24T17:41:24","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T17:41:24","slug":"fall-meeting-cancelled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/friendsofportsmouthisland.org\/fopi\/fall-meeting-cancelled\/","title":{"rendered":"Fall Meeting Cancelled"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We regret that the September membership meeting will be cancelled due to the current Covid crisis. &nbsp;Our governor is keeping the state in Phase 2 &nbsp;for the next 5 weeks. &nbsp;We do not want to endanger any attendees by having this meeting and reluctantly will cancel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FOR OUR MEMBERS: \u00a0Since elections were to be held at the September meeting, we will have to do this a different way, probably by mail ballots. \u00a0 All members will receive information on this in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are sorry to miss you all and will concentrate on plans for our spring meeting at Ocracoke on May 15, 2021.
